“The most important political office is that of the private citizen.”

– Louis D. Brandeis

EiEat5 Lecture (Pictures)

The intergenerational conversation about citizens & governance in Nigeria took place on Monday at Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos to mark EiE’s 5th Anniversary.

It was an engaging evening anchored by Gbenga Adeyinka. Kadaria Ahmed moderated the conversation and Pita charged us all to be the ‘One man’ that’ll make a difference.

We were humbled by the attendance and outpouring of support. Thank you!

In wrapping up the event, Oby Ezekwesili launched The Passport (OfficeOfTheCitizen), a small handbook that details the rights and responsibilities of each Nigerian citizen. Request a free copy here.

A big thank to you all our speakers – Christopher Kolade, Oby Ezekwesili, Tunde Bakare, Idayat Hassan, Jeffrey Hawkins, Bolaji Owasanoye, Adebola Williams and Audu Maikori – who shared their insights and time.

Mark your calendars – another conversation next year – Tuesday, March 16, 2016.
