EiE Nigeria’s 5th Volunteers Day

Achieving the goals of any  Civil Society Organization requires the ingenuity, selflessness and solidarity of people through voluntary actions. Globally, volunteering has been playing a critical role in various developmental, humanitarian and advocacy strides as well as helping to strengthen the capacity of the existing workforce of CSOs.

At Enough is Enough Nigeria, volunteers help us encourage more Nigerians to be civic-minded and take part in holding government accountable. They help empower Nigerian Citizens to act in their best interest and in the best interest of Nigeria to create a better country for everyone.

Volunteers Day

In re-engineering our volunteer’s network, EiE Nigeria held her 5th volunteers day on 21st October 2017. Volunteer’s day is a day set aside to engage citizens who are willing to join EiE Nigeria in the demand for accountability and good governance through active citizenship.

Participants made calls to our network of volunteers intimating them of what EiE Nigeria is up to. Many volunteers seemed to have lost touch with happenings, hence, the calls were helpful in reaffirming our goals as an organization. Also, volunteers brainstormed on new strategies to adapt in ensuring that our core projects such as #RSVP ,ShineYourEye and ReVoDa are revamped in the network.
