Buhari is President-elect!
After his 3 unsuccessful attempts in 2003, 2007 & 2011, the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have decided that Muhammadu Buhari will finally lead them.
In honourable fashion, the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan, called General Buhari to congratulate him on his victory even before official results were announced.
This is the first time in Nigeria’s history that an incumbent has lost a presidential election.

Abuja RSVP Peace Concert
On March 26th, FCT rocked with MI, Sound Sultan and Julius Agwu!
It proved to be a fun-packed evening as the attendees participated in dance and fashion competitions and were consequently entertained by Julius, The Sultan and Mr Incredible as they reinforced peaceful participation in the upcoming elections.
A big thank you to Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), for funding the 6 RSVP Peace Concerts in Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Jos, Owerri, Lagos and Abuja.

Results from the #OurNASS elections last weekend show that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost its ‘majority’ status to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Senate.
Due to the Easter holidays and the April 11th elections, Senate has been adjourned till April 14, the one year anniversary of our Chibok girls.
