The people of Rivers State elected their 5th democratically elected Governor on Saturday, April 11, 2015. PDP’s Nyesom Wike emerged as the winner with 1,029,102 votes defeating his closest opponent, Dakuku Peterside of APC who polled 124, 896 votes. Below is the breakdown for three governorship candidates with the highest votes in the poll:
