Buhari is President-elect!

After his 3 unsuccessful attempts in 2003, 2007 & 2011, the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have decided that Muhammadu Buhari will finally lead them.

In honourable fashion, the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan, called General Buhari to congratulate him on his victory even before official results were announced.

This is the first time in Nigeria’s history that an incumbent has lost a presidential election.
