Highlights from State of the Nation Town Hall Meeting

On Sunday, March 2nd we held our state of the nation meeting. Attendees were divided into 3 groups – (1) Elections, (2) Security and (3) $20 billion missing. Summary is on our Facebook page. If you haven’t already, like the page!



Upcoming Voter Registration: Ekiti and Osun

Ekiti and Osun registered voters can pick up their permanent voter’s card from today through Sunday, the 9th.

If you have not registered, there will be continuous voter registration from March 12-19.

If you reside in these states, make sure you register to vote!

Your voter’s card gets you FREE entry into concerts in Ado & Osogbo the weekend of March 21st. More details soon!


2014 Moremi Leadership Empowerment and Development (MILEAD) Fellows Program

The Moremi Initiative for Women’s Leadership in Africa pursues proactive strategies to develop and empower women and girls to take on leadership roles in their communities. The MILEAD Fellows Program is a long-term leadership development program designed to identify, develop and promote emerging young African Women leaders to attain and thrive in leadership in their community and Africa as a whole.

Applications are welcome from young African women 19 – 25 years of age, living in Africa and the Diaspora.

Deadline is March 14, 2014.
