A Decade of Demands and the Quest for Justice

β€œActive and involved citizenry is the action plan to make Nigeria great.β€œ

Dear Active Citizen,

Guess what? It's been a whole decade since the #OurNASS protest shook the streets of Abuja, and we're still fighting for a more open and transparent National Assembly.

So, what's the scoop? Well, despite all the noise and our elected representatives in the National Assembly, it seems like they've been practicing their best magic tricks 🎩 because the budget, remuneration, and all that jazz are still hiding in the shadows. πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ How ironic, right? We voted them in to keep an eye on things, but it looks like they've mastered the art of disappearing acts. πŸ™ˆ

But hey, let's not forget that glimmer of hope in 2017 when they actually published a budget breakdown! πŸŽ‰ It's time to dust off those demands for an #OpenNASS because silence just won't cut it.

Switching Gears to October

It's been three years since we collectively shouted, "#EndSARS, #EndPoliceBrutality!" πŸ—£οΈ and demanded justice in Nigeria. Remember those judicial panels in 29 states? Yeah, we're still waiting for some updates in most places. 🀫

πŸ”Throughout October, we're gonna shine a spotlight on these issues and take a deep dive into the #5for5 Demands. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ We're all about rebuilding trust between citizens and security agencies. So stay tuned for all the updates!
