Fatima Adamu Maikusa of Gombe State recently won 7 international medals in Mathematics. At the age of 9, she won a medal at The American Mathematics Competition (AMC 08). She has won other medals at The International Education Mathematics Competition in Jakarta, Inddonesia; The International Math Challenge in Bangkok, Thailand; The Kangorou Sans Frontiers (KSF) Mathematics Competitions; The Future Intelligence Student Olympiad (FISO) Mathematics without Borders Competition in Bulgaria; and the Komodo Math Festival in Indonesia.
