On August 21, 2021, Nigeria’s U-20 track and field athletes made history at the biennial World U-20 Championship in Nairobi, Kenya, after finishing third on the medals table with an unprecedented win of four gold and three bronze medals. This is the highest gold win for Nigeria since the Championships started in 1983. Congratulations to the team!
