We Are All We Have!!

Dear Friend! As we mark the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which runs between the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25th) and International Human Rights Day (December 10th), we must not forget that Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) is a silent pandemic in Nigeria. Stigmatisation and Victim-blaming have stifled generations of girls and women. Enough is enough!

What Is Your Vote Worth?

A Massacre Happened!

The events of the last few days have been bitter-sweet. While believers in the #EndSARS movement got some closure and admittance from the Lagos State Judicial Panel that the Nigerian military actually killed unarmed citizens on the night of October 20, 2020, one cannot but reflect on the fact that the government consistently denied the massacre and continually gaslighted its […]

MissingInNG: Putting Faces to the Numbers

Dear Friend, As a citizens-driven organisation, we understand the task ahead of us; one that is not only steeped in the quest for good governance and true democracy but also in doing our bit to fill gaps left to fate, by years of misadministration and selfish interests. It is rather disheartening that Africa’s most populous black […]

We Stay Demanding!

Dear Active Citizen! It has been 162 days since the Nigerian government officially placed an indefinite ban on Twitter operations in Nigeria. Recall that on June 6th, two days after the ban, the Attorney-General & Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, directed that citizens who are caught still tweeting will be prosecuted; an order that had no constitutional grounds. The rather laughable irony is […]

Good News, Nigeria! – November 8, 2021

The nation grows when citizens and government play their respective roles in economic development. Behind every good act are men and women being productive in their different capacities.

The Time Has Finally Come!

Anambrarian! Election day is upon us! Are you ready to vote for your ideal candidate – the Principal Officer who can rightly steer the reins of the state for the next 4 years? The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that the Commission is doing everything within its power to ensure your vote counts. So, mobilise your friends and community network […]

You Are Not Alone!

Dear Friend, How are you? Do not think of this question as rhetorical. This is your conscience speaking. Really, how is your mental health? Before the pandemic, statistics from the World Health Organisation (WHO) as of 2019, showed that Nigeria, the seventh-largest country in the world, could have up to 50 million people suffering from mental health issues. The organisation […]

Reflections: The EiE Impact Report 2020

Dear Friend, From noble and unplanned beginnings triggered by the failings of the then Yar’adua Government in 2010, we have grown in capacity to influence a new crop of Nigerians tired of the systemic decadence and eager to rebuild the only nation we can proudly call home. The EiE Impact Report 2020 chronicles our footprints, in numbers and unforgettable milestones […]
