ESE BRUME & BLESSING OBORUDUDU WIN OLYMPICS MEDALS FOR NIGERIA

On Tuesday, August 3^rd, Ese Brume and Blessing Oborududu made Nigeria proud at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Ese clinched the bronze medal, Nigeria’s first track and field medal at the Olympics since 2008, after leaping to an impressive 6.97 metres in the women’s long jump event. Blessing won a silver medal in the women’s freestyle 68kg wrestling event, making it the first medal won by a Nigerian wrestler in the history of the Olympics. Congratulations Nigeria!
