Miriam Olusanya has been appointed as the first female Managing Director/CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB).
Her appointment continues the tradition of female commercial bank CEOs and brings the current number to six – Halima Buba (SunTrust Bank), Ireti Samuel-Ogbu (Citibank Nigeria), Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe (Fidelity Bank), Tomi Somefun (Unity Bank), and Yemisi Edun (First City Monument Bank – FCMB).
