Oboro had a traumatic experience when her son, Tombra, was diagnosed with jaundice disease in 2015. This inspired her to provide a solution that can reduce the risk associated with the disease.
In her interview with CNN, Oboro stated, “I felt like some of the things I experienced could have been avoided,” she said. “I thought, ‘is there something I can do to make the pain less for the babies and the mothers’?”
