TOBI AMUSAN AND ESE BRUME WON GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS RESPECTIVELY AT THE WORLD ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP

Tobi Amusan stormed to victory at the 100 metres hurdles final at the world championship held in Eugwna, Oregon, USA. This made her the first athlete from Nigeria to win gold at such an event and set the world record as the fastest woman in the 100 meters hurdles with 12.12 seconds.

On the other hand, Ese Brume won the long jump silver medal at the same event.

We join other Nigerians to celebrate these heroines on their achievements.
