#LekkiMassacre – One Month, Never Forgotten!

Dear Active Citizen,

Today makes it a month since the #LekkiMassacre. We remember our fallen heroes, their bravery forever etched in our hearts.

While we continue demanding justice for the deceased, let us remember their families in our prayers.

Rest easy, soldiers! ❤ + ?

Ko por ke? Opor opor ye ye…

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, was in the news again and this time, he is dragging CNN.

Well, CNN had released a report on the #LekkiMassacre with evidence that bullet casings from the scene matched those used by the Nigerian army when shooting live rounds, according to current and former Nigerian military officials.

Mr Lai Mohammed tagged the report as fake news and insisted that blank bullets were shot in the air and that casualties weren’t recorded, even when the Chief Coroner of Lagos State issued a public call for all those who had lost loved ones between 19 – 27 October 2020, to come forward and provide evidence which could assist in the identification exercise of missing persons.

Let’s see how it plays out – truth and justice must prevail!
