Amidst Multidimensional Poverty

Despite federal government’s intent to take $22.7 billion loans, the Federal House of Representatives members ordered for 400 Toyota Camry 2020 model cars at N12.6 million excluding shipping, import duty and other clearing charges and taxes. 

Recall that EiE, SERAP, BudgIT and over 6,000 citizens are still in court against the plan by Senate to spend N5.5bn on luxury cars in 2019. According to a report by Punch, it appears the Senate has bought the vehicles.

Agba Jalingo was finally released after perfecting his bail conditions on Monday, February 17^th. The next adjourned date for the suit against him is April 6^th, 7^th and 8^th.
